Changelog
Six major releases across our first five months. New features, improvements, bug fixes, and security updates — most recent version first.
Version 3.1.0
“More senders”June 2026LatestThree new bring-your-own sending providers and a refreshed provider-connect experience.
- NewConnect Oracle Cloud (OCI) Email Delivery, Zoho ZeptoMail, and Elastic Email as native sending providers — bringing the total to eleven, alongside Amazon SES, SendGrid, Brevo, Mailgun, Postmark, Resend, Gmail, and generic SMTP.
- ImprovedRedesigned the "Add provider" dialog — a faster provider picker with per-service setup guidance, smart defaults, and inline tips for each provider.
Version 3.0.0.1
“Refinement”May 2026A polish-heavy release focused on the workflows you use every day — warmup, deliverability hygiene, and clearer navigation across the workspace dashboard.
- NewWarmup peers got a side-by-side rewrite — search, filter chips (active / paused / bounced / opted-out), and one-click "import my own mailboxes" so adding trusted peers takes seconds.
- NewAutomatic open detection for peers that are also on EmailSendX — opens register the moment mail lands in the receiving inbox, no image pixel required. Outlook desktop and privacy-protected clients no longer leave you guessing.
- NewClean warmup removal — fully detach warmup from a mailbox in one click, with a clear confirmation showing what will be removed. The sending provider stays connected.
- NewSingle-contact add now blocks known disposable / burner-email domains by default. Per-workspace allowlists let you accept the ones you trust.
- ImprovedSetup guides and coaching tips consolidated across the app into a single collapsible "How it works" surface — less clutter, faster onboarding for new workspace members.
- ImprovedTighter sidebar labels across the workspace dashboard (e.g. "Suppressed" instead of "Suppressed contacts") so scannable nav stays scannable.
- ImprovedHelpful inline hint on each warmup mailbox when sends are going through but opens aren't — explains image-pixel limits and points you at the auto-open path.
- SecurityHardened session validation and account-level safeguards across the dashboard. No customer action required.
- FixedOpen tracking now gracefully handles image-blocked mail clients (Outlook desktop, image-off Gmail, privacy-protected Apple Mail) by falling back to inbox-sync detection where available.
- FixedSeveral mobile-layout and keyboard-accessibility tweaks across the workspace dashboard.
- FixedA handful of small stability fixes in campaign analytics aggregates and contact-sync edge cases.
Version 2.4.0.6
“Intelligence Layer”April 2026AI moved out of marketing pages and into the campaign-creation flow. Smarter filtering, smarter scoring, and the first round of proactive Smart Suggestions.
- NewAI spam-score predictor (0–10) in the campaign review step — flags risky phrasing, missing unsubscribe link, image-to-text ratio issues, and more, with line-by-line suggested fixes.
- NewAI subject-line generator with brand-voice tuning — paste 3 of your past winners and we produce 12 new variants in the same register.
- NewSmart Suggestions — monthly digest of paused campaigns, low-engagement peers, and re-activation opportunities. Acts as a coach, not a notification.
- NewDisposable / burner email filter with 50,000+ domain blocklist. Per-workspace allowlist for the edge cases that matter to your business.
- ImprovedSegment filter builder gained nested-key support for custom metadata fields (filter by `metadata.lifecycle_stage`, etc.).
- ImprovedCampaign timeline chart overlays opens, clicks, and bounces on a single time axis for easier diagnosis.
- ImprovedA/B testing now supports send-time variants in addition to subject and from-name.
- SecurityPII filter on application logs — email addresses, names, and free-text custom fields are automatically redacted before logs leave the application.
- FixedPaused-then-resumed automation enrollments now correctly pick up where they stopped instead of restarting from step 1.
- FixedApple Mail Privacy Protection no longer pushes reported open rates over 100% on small lists.
Version 2.0.0.1
“Premium Inbox”March 2026Two-way email lands in EmailSendX. Replies stop disappearing into the void — they sync, thread, and live alongside the campaigns that started them.
- NewPremium Inbox — full IMAP and Gmail integration. Connect your sending mailbox once and every reply syncs back to a unified, threaded inbox.
- NewOne-to-one compose with the same merge-tag engine that powers campaigns. Personalize without leaving the inbox.
- NewConversation threading across multiple addresses (your support@ + sales@ + founders@ collapse into a single contact view).
- NewEmail signature builder with per-mailbox signatures and HTML / image support.
- NewReal-time reply detection on warmup messages — a peer reply now stamps the conversation as engaged instantly instead of waiting for the next sync tick.
- ImprovedMailbox sync supports IMAP IDLE and Gmail push, so the inbox updates in real time without polling.
- ImprovedFaster contact-by-email lookup — opening a thread now fetches the matching CRM contact in a single round-trip.
- SecurityMailbox OAuth tokens encrypted at rest with industry-standard authenticated encryption. Keys never appear in application logs.
- SecurityHardened inbound HTML sanitizer for every synced message — emails from untrusted senders can no longer carry script payloads into our render path.
- FixedThread aggregate counts now correctly subtract deleted messages.
- FixedGmail "All Mail" label no longer triggers duplicate ingestion of the same message.
Version 1.5.1.2
“Deliver Like a Pro”Late February 2026Deliverability stops being a black box. Warm your reputation, set up authentication, and watch every signal in one dashboard.
- NewFriends-and-family warmup network — exchange conversational mail with trusted peers on an automatic 14-day ramp curve that builds sender reputation without faking engagement.
- NewSPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI setup wizards with built-in DNS validators. Walks you through the records, then verifies them every 24 hours.
- NewBounce + complaint dashboard with provider-level reputation tracking (Gmail, Yahoo, Microsoft, Apple).
- NewCustom tracking domains — configure `track.yourdomain.com` per workspace so click and open links no longer reveal third-party infrastructure.
- NewInbox placement testing (beta) — add seed addresses across major providers, then track exactly where each campaign landed.
- ImprovedA/B testing expanded to include subject-line variants alongside from-name.
- ImprovedReputation page now shows 7-day rolling bounce and complaint rates with per-provider thresholds.
- SecurityEvery tracking pixel and click redirect signed with a per-installation key. Tokens older than 180 days are rejected automatically.
- SecurityBrute-force protection on the login surface — repeated failed attempts trigger throttling and a stepped-up captcha.
- FixedSES configuration sets now respected at the per-campaign level rather than per-workspace.
- FixedWorkspace-level rate limits now reset on the correct hour boundary in non-UTC timezones.
Version 1.2.0.4
“Inbox to CRM”Early February 2026Your contacts are no longer just email addresses. EmailSendX grew a CRM, an automation engine, and the first public API.
- NewBuilt-in CRM with contacts, accounts, deals, and configurable pipelines. Kanban board view and revenue-attribution timeline included.
- NewAutomation builder with trigger-based workflows (contact created, list joined, campaign opened, custom events). Drag-to-connect editor with simulated test runs.
- NewTemplate gallery with 50+ pre-designed templates across welcome series, abandoned cart, re-engagement, and announcement categories.
- NewWordPress plugin v1.0 — form-submission capture and one-click sync to EmailSendX lists.
- NewPublic REST API (v1.0) with self-serve API keys, full contact / campaign / automation coverage, and OpenAPI spec.
- ImprovedBounce classification accuracy improved for Gmail and Yahoo soft-bounce variants.
- ImprovedBulk import now handles up to 500 contacts per request with progress indicator and rollback on failure.
- SecurityAPI keys can now be scoped to specific capabilities (read-only, contacts-only, campaign-publish only) and carry their own rate limits.
- FixedWorkspace member invites no longer expire silently — clear "expired" badge with one-click resend.
Version 1.0.0.1
